Tip # 1 - Read while the kids do homework at the kitchen table.

When it comes to balancing the use of technology, parents need to be an example to for their kids. In today’s day and age, kids have homework starting in Kindergarten.  Have the children sit together at the kitchen table to doe their work. Instead of keeping yourself busy by doing laundry, cleaning the house or catching up on social media, sit with them for 20 mins. Lead by example and pick up a book you have been meaning to read. Set goals for yourself and be an inspiration for them.
