24 INSPIRING DAILY ELF ENTRANCES

It is that time of year and our favorite elf “Chippy” is heading back our way. Most Scout Elfves return to their families the last week in November. Our elf usually comes after we read the story and watch the movie.

How does your elf come each year?

Is this your first year introducing your family’s scout elf? Do not worry - remember to always have fun! Believe me, there will nights or mornings where you will panic because you didn’t move your elf. Rest assured every parent, even the crafty ones, have done it! At times we all hate the elf.

Don’t forget - if your child touches your elf they lose their magic. If that happens, make sure the elves disappear for at least one day to regain their powers, allowing children to truly believe. There will be tears, but stick to your guns! Parents have been known to write notes, send pictures of their sick elf recovering or use the man flu theme for a couple of days.
