Sisters, OR - Sisters Saloon and Ranch Grill 7.7.18

Our adventure this weekend was a exploring in Bend, OR.  On our drive out we stopped off in the olde thyme town of Sisters, OR.  All the buildings resembled the olde west in all it's glory.

We rolled right up to Sisters Saloon and made our way to the bar.  We settled into the table in the corner of the bar area right by the front window.  As we sat there sipping our beers my mind floated off imagining an outlaw cowboy slapping open the wooden swing saloon doors with dust billowing up from behind.  The music would halt and everyone would spin around with apprehension as to who was entering.  The cowboy would mosey up to the bar and order a stiff whiskey.  Today it was just some older gentleman with his wife who ordered a Coors Light and she got a water.

Our delicious chicken sandwich arrived which was decorated with guacamole, provolone, bacon, garlic aioli on a ciabatta roll.  We maybe the substitution for sweet potato fries and it was absolutely worth it. Overall an amazing lunch.

Sisters Saloon was more than just the bar area.  They had a large outdoor seating section with metal tables and a few large cushioned furniture pieces around a couple fire pits.  The inside had another dining area as well as a large upstairs with private rooms and an arcade room.

If you are visiting or passing through Sisters we recommend stopping in for a bite to eat and a beer.
