North Alberta, Portland, OR - Alberta Street Pub 5.19.18
Are you looking for live music? It was a date night for us and I was planning. At this point I was still new to the area so I found Alberta Street Pub to listen to some live music. The band that I thought was playing was at a different venue, but we decided to stay and check it out.
Alberta Street Pub is a great small venue with free live music. As you walk in you are greeted by the long bar and several booths. In the back you can either relax on the patio or head into the backroom where the stage was. The backroom opened to the patio so it was airy and flowed well.
We only had drinks here but they were great and the bartenders were fun!
Playing this night was J.Moses and The Ragged Sunday. The music as they describe it was definitely "Heavy Meddlin' Honky Tonkin' Rollin Roots Rock". I would recommend going to see them and listen to their soulful voices.
Overall a great time and we will be visiting Alberta Street Pub again soon.
